    Your phone battery died — what to do now

    You are at 2% or already switched off, with no free socket around. Instead of hunting for a shop, take a power bank from the nearest station and keep going — it works even with a black screen.

    The first minute

    If the phone is still on: enable low power mode, dim the screen, turn off Bluetooth and background refresh. That can stretch 5% by another half hour.

    Meanwhile find the nearest Dead Batt station — a cafe, restaurant, mall, hotel, clinic or IKEA store. There are 200+ stations in Israel.

    When the phone is fully dead

    Remember two stations on your usual route — your morning cafe and the mall you pass — and a dead battery becomes a one-minute stop.

    If a place you visit often has no station, suggest it to the owner: install is free and they earn commission on every rental.
