Open the map on our website and find the nearest Dead Batt station. Stations are installed in cafés, restaurants, malls, and other public places across Israel.

Tap your bank card on the payment terminal at the station. A ₪70 deposit will be charged — it will be refunded when you return the power bank, minus the rental fee. Rental costs ₪15 for the first hour or any part of it, max ₪30 per day. See the "Pricing" section for details.

When your device is charged, insert the power bank into any free slot at any Dead Batt station. Make sure the station is on, the power bank is fully inserted and hasn't popped back out.
What is power bank sharing?
A power bank is a portable charging device for your phone. People usually buy their own, but you have to remember to charge it and bring it with you.
Sharing means shared use. Instead of buying your own power bank, you simply rent one when you need it and return it when your device is charged.
A Dead Batt station is a vending machine-like terminal. It stores charged power banks. You tap your bank card, the station dispenses a power bank, and you can use it as long as you need.

Can you take a power bank on a flight?
Airlines allow power banks up to 100Wh in carry-on baggage only, never in checked luggage. Dead Batt power banks are well under that limit, but the service is for use in Israel: return the power bank to a station before your flight so the rental ends and the deposit is released.
