Most charger rental services require an app. But installing one needs battery, data and an app-store account — three things that disappear at 2%.

How it works without an app

At Dead Batt stations the whole rental happens at the station:

1. Tap a contactless card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on the reader
2. The station releases a power bank with built-in cables
3. Connect your phone and carry on

No signup, no password, no QR scan, no download wait.

Why it matters

A fully dead phone — payment happens at the station, so charging can start immediately.

Visitors — no Israeli number for SMS verification and no heavy download on roaming.

People in a hurry — five seconds versus five minutes of signup is the difference between a rental that happened and one that did not.

Venue owners — an obvious station needs no explanation from staff, and completed rentals go up.

What about returning it

Returning needs no app either: push the power bank into a free slot at a powered station until it clicks and the rental closes. The 70₪ deposit is then released.

Transparent pricing

15₪ for the first hour, capped at 30₪ per rental day, no subscription and no signup fee. Return at any station in Israel.
