Returning a power bank: the full guide to avoiding an extra day

Returning a power bank: the full guide to avoiding an extra day

    The basic rule

A rental closes only when the station registers the power bank back in a slot. Leaving it on the counter, handing it to staff or putting it back in your bag does not close anything, and the daily rate keeps accruing up to the 30₪ cap.

Three checks before you walk away

    1. The station is powered — a dark or unplugged unit cannot register a return
    2. The unit is pushed in until it clicks — a partial push leaves the rental open
    3. The station responded — the screen confirms the return

    Where you may return it

At any station in the network in Israel, not only the one you took it from. Handy when you pick one up in a mall and return it near home or the office later.

    No free slot

It happens. Two options: find another station nearby on the site map, or message support on WhatsApp with the venue name so we log the attempt and service the station.

The station is off or unresponsive

Do not force the unit in. Photograph the station, message support with the venue name and time, and return it at another station. Documentation resolves nearly every disputed charge.

    About the deposit

The 70₪ is an authorisation, not a charge. After a proper return it is released; how fast it leaves your available balance depends on your bank and can take a few business days.

    Pricing in two lines

15₪ for the first hour, capped at 30₪ per rental day. No subscription, no signup fee.

    A note for venue owners

The venue hosting the station is not liable if a customer fails to return a unit — the hardware is insured by Dead Batt. Staff never need to collect, log or chase units.

    Summary

A correct return takes three seconds of attention: powered station, push until it clicks, confirmation on screen. That is all it takes to close the rental and release the deposit.
